How do i know if I need security?
There are a variety of reasons why you might find the need for an extra level of security. From making sure your home, family and assets are secure to ensuring your own personal safety in specific situations, taking appropriate precautions can truly be a lifesaver and save you financial headaches.
do you offer celebrity protection?
We work with many high net worth clients and some are in the public. We do not release clients details nor do we share pictures of who we are protecting, unless this has been agreed by yourself. However we will protect the identity of our close protection personnel.
We offer protection throughout the UK and we also offer Security/Protection worldwide. PSS is able to offer you a complete service which also includes your travel and your accommodation. So even if you are not a celebrity, you will feel like one.
can i ask for just male or female close protection operators?
In the cases where female or a male only teams are required, we can certainly arrange this for yourself. We are able to tailor every aspect of your protection and make any changes to suit your needs and requirements. At the consultation stage we will go through everything to make sure your needs are met.
are all your security staff dbs checked?
Yes and this is part of the conditions of all SIA Licensing in the UK. CNAPS for France and other countries have their own regulations.

do i need to take out public liability insurance?
We take care of everything for you and this includes the insurance for the personnel that you have looking after you. All our drivers are covered to drive with you and your family in the vehicles. Security Guards are covered by their own insurance. PSS takes care of everything so you don’t have too.
how many Close Protection members do I need?
Due to the nature of what we provide here at Platinum Security Solutions (PSS) this answer is based purely on a client to client basis. The things that should be taken into consideration, are threat level, budget and location you will be travelling in.
would my close protection Operator place himself in harms way for me?.
The simple answer to this questions is Yes, by “Placing assets (Close Protection Operator/vehicle/building/object) between threat and Principle (You the Client)”. But this question is something that does require more explanation. As close protection operators, our role is to protect the client from embarrassment, kidnap, physical harm and death, to both you the client and your family and business assets. This is done through conducting meticulous planning and preparation to mitigate against the aforementioned threats. We are here to facilitate your security requirements.
Who can hire a Close protection officer?
Anyone can hire a CPO if they consider that having one is beneficial to their safety and/or the safety of their family or business. In some occasions a CPO is not needed and we will advise you at the time of consultation if we believe that another service maybe of better use to you, even if that service is cheaper or if you don’t require any security. We always aim to help you feel safe and we will always do our very best to protect you.
can i hire a car without a driver?
Yes, You do not need to use our security services to hire any of the luxury cars we offer. We do offer a discounted rate to anyone that uses our other services at the time of hiring any of our luxury services,
can close protection operatives carry guns in the uk?
This question is asked a lot within the close protection (Bodyguard) industry. No private security company in the UK are legally allowed to carry guns. If you see any company or person doing so then please inform your local police and the SIA.

We offer a complete security service for your needs. We only work with honest and reliable staff that take what they do seriously and have passed our own training as well as any other training they may have undergone previously.
